The Africa Contemporary Arts Consortium

The Africa Contemporary Arts Consortium is comprised of 10 diverse and dynamic U.S. arts organizations, including festivals, residency centers, performing and visual arts centers, producers and universities. Each Consortium member has made a long-term commitment-on a curatorial, institutional and personal level-to multi-dimensional and multi-directional cultural exchange with Africa. Within the collective, consortium members possess expertise in creative residencies, scholarship, producing, touring, presenting, and collaboration with African partners. Members meet in person three times a year, and the Executive Committee meets 2-3 times per year by phone. MAPP is an active member of the consortium in addition to being its General Manager.
