The human is the only creature who laughs and cries because he is the only one who gets struck by the difference between how things are and how they, accordingly, should be. We get bored regularly, simultaneously we are afraid of being considered boring and we constantly have a desire for new experiences. In our need for drama and sensation we are inclined to have an opinion about everything.
The characters of GOOD COP BAD COP make something out of nothing special and relationships are constantly psychologized. Behind a simple look or a slight change of sitting position an enormous world of feeling seems to be hiding. Built upon texts and editing techniques taken from reality television, and using their characteristic juxtaposition of film and theater, Kassys shows their inexhaustible fascination for group behavior and manipulation.
